Nope! We are working on a plan to engage any Yukon communities interested to be able to run rehearsals in their own communities. We hope you will be able to join in person for our weekend camps and workshops which will happen about every 2 months - these are a great time to build your musical skills and team spirit with the choir.

Yes! Performing is one of the best parts of being in a choir. We will join the other choirs in the Yukon Community Choirs society for some performances as well as have performances of our own.

Traveling as part of a choir is a great experience, whether it is to perform, to compete, or to learn.
We are planning weekend away camps every other month with the first camp planned for October 2025.
In the future, we hope to be able to take our show on the road and spread the joy of singing throughout the Yukon and beyond!

The cost for a year (September to May) is $500 per youth, plus music and incidental costs of about $50 to $80 per year.
-
We don’t want cost to be a barrier for youth that would like to participate. If the registration fee isn’t feasible for you and your family, please email youth@yukonchoir.ca to discuss what financial help we can offer.

We rely on support from parents/guardians and other volunteers to run the choir! While we recognize some parents may have too many responsibilities to be able to commit, we strongly encourage parents to get involved. There will be a variety of roles and duties from chaperones to coordinators. Having parents and guardians volunteer helps us keep the choir going.
