Philosophy

The Yukon Youth Choir exists for youth to find their voice and feel empowered to be a positive change in their community.

The Yukon Youth Choir is a member of the Yukon Community Choirs (YCC) Society. The YCC’s mission is to:

“be an inclusive singing experience, which builds and enhances our health, joy and social community by providing quality choral music presentations.”

The Yukon Community Choirs humbly acknowledge that we make music on the traditional territoy of the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council and the Kwanlin Dün First Nation who have stewarded this land since time immemorial.
